Interviewing/Assessment
Mlungu Lyons Medical Recruitment candidates are all interviewed before submitting their CVs.- Competency Based Recruitment Technique minimizes the risk of discrimination and also results in a more efficient and focused service to our clients.
- Key Performance Areas (KPAs) and competencies are established by in-depth interviews conducted by our trained consultants, concentrating on the past behaviour of candidates in a work, study, social and civic duty environment. The premise is that past behaviour will predict future behaviour of the candidates.
- We use the Behavioural Event Interviewing technique (similar to Targeted Selection), and all questions are competency based and fully compliant with the new Labour Relations Act. All our documentation and records (e.g. screening) are in accordance with the LRA and have been approved by the CCMA.
Reference Checks
- All candidates are reference checked and telephonic transcripts are attached to the Curriculum Vitae. (Wherever possible we try to provide a minimum of two.)
Qualification, Credit and Criminal Checks
- Qualification Checks, Credit Checks (ITC) and Criminal Checks are part of our service. Candidates sign an indemnity form when they come in for interview, giving us permission to perform these checks.
- A Comprehensive Curriculum Vitae, compiled by our consultancy, is prepared and delivered to the client. Mlungu Lyons Medical Recruitment does not follow the trend of forwarding unsolicited Curriculum Vitae’s. Curriculum Vitae’s are only forwarded once requested by a company for a specific job specification.
